Logitech roommate network goes offline after a while if no usb connected?

My current setup:

  1. Logitech IP Tap
  2. Logitech Roommate
  3. Logitech Meetme

Logitech Meetme is connected to a USB switch which can toggle output to select port A or port B. Port A is connected to Logitech Roommate, port B is connected to a docking station. This setup will allow me to configure audio presentation using Port B. When I toggle the Logitech Meetme connection to Port B, issue started after about an hour whereby the Logitech Roommate will goes offline and the Logitech IP Tap will try to link with the Roommate again. If from the network perspective, I will get a ping timeout if I try to ping the Roommate. This happened to all of my three meeting room. If I toggle back to Port A, issue still persist. I had to reboot the Logitech Roommate device in order to fix it.
